I'm also a writer, a business owner, performer/speaker/actor, editor and a former counselor. I enjoy power tools, music (long live rock n roll), social activism, worn-in jeans, vodka, summer, and my family and friends.

I'm one of those people that have myriad experience and an extensive skill set, but seem to be completely unemployable because HR departments don't know what to do with me. Hence, I'm self-employed and I freelance. Who needs health insurance anyway?
