News - Sort of obvious. I'll try not to post things like "I got a pedicure yesterday". You'll find that stuff on the Blog. July - I'm all a'twitter! Or at least the living donor advocate part of me is. You can find my twitter feed here. June - My alma mater's alumni magazine was kind enough to do a profile on my living donor advocacy efforts for their latest issue. April - Fun "before" photos of my 1968 Time Warp Palace house. Plus, new living donor merch designs, and added much needed info to Living Donor 101. December 31 - I'm participating in a Health Care Discussion Group to improve the kidney donor transplant system, promoted by the Obama transition group under Secretary-nominee Daschle. December 10 - Happy Holidays, everyone. Find new designs in the Living Donor 101 store for all your shopping needs. November 11 - Conspicuous Chicks Corner got a whole new look with the help of zencart and Kimmie from WebArt Webdesign. Goodies for the holidays AND exact shipping! October 1 - LivingDonor101.com has been launched. It is still very bare bones but on its way. My goal is ensure all living donors have the information and support they need pre and especially post surgery. September 4 - I survived my one-month follow-up on my one-port nephrectomy, and all is well - at least physically. June 27 - Becky, who donated a chunk of her liver to her brother, has added my blog to The Greatest Gift Foundation's blog. June 13 - I've decided to go semi-public with my journey to be a living kidney donor for my sister. I've begun blogging the process in hopes of educating others about living organ donation. I welcome any feedback you may have, and ask that you forward the link to anyone who might be interested. June 08 - We survived Opening Weekend! Brian Lisik, meanwhile, of The Nordonia Hills Suns says, I "was perfectly cast - looked right, turned in an entirely believable performance, and really brought the most human element to a script that relied so heavily on human interaction as its 'action'."
