July 2009 - I'm all a'twitter! Or at least the living donor advocate part of me is. You can find my twitter feed here. June 2009 - My alma mater's alumni magazine was kind enough to do a profile on my living donor advocacy efforts for their latest issue. December 31 2008 - I'm participating in a Health Care Discussion Group to improve the kidney donor transplant system, promoted by the Obama transition group under Secretary-nominee Daschle. November 11 - Conspicuous Chicks Corner got a whole new look with the help of zencart and Kim from WebArt Webdesign. Goodies for the holidays AND exact shipping! October 1 - LivingDonor101.com has been launched. It is still very bare bones but on its way. My goal is ensure all living donors have the information and support they need pre and especially post surgery. June 27 - Becky, who donated a chunk of her liver to her brother, has added my blog to The Greatest Gift Foundation's blog. June 13 - I've decided to go semi-public with my journey to be a living kidney donor for my sister. I've begun blogging the process in hopes of educating others about living organ donation. I welcome any feedback you may have, and ask that you forward the link to anyone who might be interested. June 08 - We survived Opening Weekend! But you can still catch me as Gigi Stone on Thursday June 12, Saturday June 14, or the following Thursday June 19 and Saturday June 21. For tickets and more details, please see www.SecondApril.org The first reviews of my performance as Gigi Stone in "Darkside": From Tom Wachunas of The Observer Reporter: "Cristy Wright...is scarily authentic as the bitter - and usually drunk - seductress longing for real if not temporary passion." Brian Lisik, meanwhile, of The Nordonia Hills Suns says, I "was perfectly cast - looked right, turned in an entirely believable performance, and really brought the most human element to a script that relied so heavily on human interaction as its 'action'."
