I want to thank Cristy Wright for true commitment to donor advocacy. I found the Living Donor 101 and Living Donors Matter websites many months after my husband died at Lahey. On 5/24/2010, he died during a laparoscopic hepatic resection surgery. He was the living organ donor. I thank God people like Cristy are here to inform and empower future donors. Living donors matter and the dead ones mattered too.

Located at www.livingdonor101.com, LD101 provides information and support for living organ donors, educates the public on matters related to living kidney and liver donation, and engages in other activities which serve the purpose of improving the protection and care of living donors.

The content of Living Donor 101 is composed from academic literature, federal departments, public policy organizations, psychosocial theories, personal narratives, and media articles.
